Schedule 

School days are Tuesday/Thursday, 9am-1pm

School runs September 14- June 9

School Closures

School will close when it is a danger for families to make it to our location or environment is deemed unsafe, such as smoke/evacuation from wildfires, ice or snow. As a baseline we will follow Oregon City School districts recommendations for school closures in case of inclement weather.  Additional school days may be added the third week of June if school closure days exceed 2 days. 

Tuition

$300 per month, due one the first of every month.

Scholarship available for qualifying families (please contact us for more information)

Expectations 

Children will be busy and active at school so we ask children eat a full healthy breakfast before coming to school.

We ask that children refrain from using electronic equipment on mornings they attend school.

Requirments

Students must be 3 years old by the first day of school and must be fully potty trained. 

Students attending Whole Heart will need proper seasonally appropriate clothing, including but not limited to waterproof pants, coats, boots, and wool/silk or appropriate base layers.  (Gear list coming soon!) Clothing worn to school is intended to get muddy/dirty/ and wet.

Students are to come fully dressed for daily weather predictions. (ie. rain pants ON)

Children must come to school with a lunch and a full water bottle. 

On the first day of school, parents are asked to bring a full change of clothes in a ziploc bag with child’s name clearly visible. This will be stored at school for the year. 

Sick Policy

Any children with symptoms of cold, flu, or Covid-19 are asked to stay home.  This includes fever, sore throat, cough, vomiting, nausea, diarrhea, and loss of smell/taste.

Park Days

One week in Spring we will hold school at Milo McIver State park to give children a chance to explore a new forest, fish hatchery and forage for fresh spring nettles (for pesto making!) By spring children have settled into a comfortably with the routine, schedule, and land of Whole Heart,  giving us an opportunity to travel outside school lands and explore a new terrain.
